Just finished the prologue of "Guns, Germs, and Steel" by Jared Diamond. It's about essentially why some societies conquered others- very summarized that is. I still am not sure what it will be like. But so far it has got me thinking, about a lot of things derived from his main thesis.

I also just started reading a book. I have only 220 pages to go! Ella and I have been exchanging books. Ella has my Ban Ki Mun book and I got hers named 'the curious incident of the dog in the night-time'. So far I read 6 pages, and I found out that the dog was killed very brutally :(
I'm diggin' your blog marc. your comments on how people tend to gravitate towards similar demograpic area to that in which they were reared is interesting.
Hey Marc, I watched this video in my Agronomy class. It was part one of National Geographics edition of Guns, Germs, and Steel. I thought it was really cool. How is the book coming?
